English: Hello, note I can't write in German, so I write in english and use google translate. I have a Sim2 Superlumis, and a Sim2 M-150. Each comes with its own Sim2 live color calibration software. I also have an xrite i1 display pro plus. I have never measured brightness or contrast before, or done a calibration, and I am looking for help step by step what to do. It doesnt have have to be all at once, just posts telling me the first step or two, then once I do those, I can report back and ask what's next.
First though, I just need help to measure them. I want to make sure, out of the box, nothing is broken, and that the contrast and brightness and ANSI contrast measured are in the ballpark of what people have reported. Those are the three things I need help how to measure. I know they can change after calibration, so Im not sure what values to compare to when it's not calibrated, but please advise how I can do that first. I am in a bigger rush to measure them and make sure everything is "OK" before moving to the next step of calibration. If it turns out one has a big problem then I wont waste time calibrating it, I will try to repair it or something.
Thanks very much for the help
